The California Travel and Tourism Council last week issued an RFP for PR support for programs to help get more of our friends north of the border to forsake Whistler for the snowy slopes of California.

Budget is up to $300k (if you don’t mind taking IOUs 
).
Important dates:
- Notice of intent to bid due on January 28, 2009;
- Proposals due on February 25, 2009; and
- Interviews for top three the week of March 25, 2009.
